Northern Michigan University's DeVos Art Museum is accepting submissions through March 18 for its “North of the 45th: 2025 Annual Upper Midwest Juried Exhibition.” Artists living in Michigan, Wisconsin or Minnesota north of the 45th parallel are invited to submit their works from all media.
Awards will include Jurors' Choice, which includes a $500 prize; and Audience Choice, determined by visitor votes during the exhibition. The Permanent Collection Acquisition Award is subject to approval by the acquisition committee.
Work in all media made in the last three years is welcome, provided it wasn't previously exhibited at the museum. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by April 17. Artwork must be delivered to the museum by 5 p.m. in June. The exhibition will run from June 20-Aug. 1. A reception date will be announced.
All entries can be submitted by creating an account at devos.slideroom.com. There is a $20 fee to submit 1-5 images and the juror will select specific artworks for the exhibition based on submissions. For more information, visit nmuartmuseum.com.
