Shaun Shepard, EdD, is an adjunct professor in the College of Business. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University, and her research interests include trauma-informed pedagogy, social and emotional learning, and professional development.
When she is not teaching at Northern Michigan University, Shepard serves high school students as a School Director for 3DE Schools by Junior Achievement in Prince George's County, Maryland. She is passionate about bringing unique and rigorous learning opportunities to university-level and high school students that ultimately position them for success after graduation.
Shepard lives in Alexandria, Va. with her husband, Grant, rescue dog, Achilles, and newborn daughter, Thea.
