Faculty Promotions, Tenure Announced

The Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees approved promotions, tenure and contract continuations for NMU faculty. Most went into effect over the summer.

The following faculty were promoted to the rank of professor:

          Stacy Boyer-Davis, Business

          Erin Colwitz, Music

          Melissa Copenhaver, Nursing

          William Digneit, Theatre and Dance

          Scott Jordan, Health and Human Performance

          Lee Roecker, Chemistry

          Kristen Smith, Nursing

          Brian Zinser, Business

The following faculty were promoted to the rank of associate professor:

          Michelle Andriacchi, Nursing

          Jon Barch, Psychological Science

          Sarah Carlson, Social Work

          Suk Yin Caroline Cheng, Social Work

          Lin Fang, Psychological Science

          Jill Grundstrom, Theatre and Dance

          Kirk Guckenberg, Technology and Occupational Science

          Petra Hendrickson, Political Science

          Joshua Ingber, Economics

          Heather Isaacson, Clinical Science

          Maryam Khaledi, Clinical Science

          Lukus Klawitter, Health and Human Performance

          Vikash Kumar, Social Work

          Liz Mandeville, Biology

          Meghan McCune, Sociology and Anthropology

          Deanna Pozega, Engineering Technology

Among the newly promoted associate professors, Andriacchi, Cheng, Ingber, Khaledi, McCune, White, Wilson and Yangyouru were also granted tenure. Additional faculty members granted tenure were Casey Hopper and Sarah Jennings of Nursing, and Megan Nelson of Health and Human Performance.
