Campus Cinema Presents 'We Live in Time'

Northern Michigan University's Campus Cinema student organization will present the film “We Live in Time,” a 2024 rom-com starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, on Saturday, Jan. 18. The movie is being shown in John X. Jamrich Hall on Northern's campus, room 1100. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie begins at 7 p.m. The showing is free to NMU students or $1 for the public, and concessions will be available for purchase. 

“We Live in Time,” directed by John Crowley and written by Nick Payne, is set in England and was released this past fall. When Almut, a widely respected chef, and Tobias, a recent divorcee, meet after she accidentally hits him with her car, the couple falls in love and begins the start of their lives together. But after a painful stage-3 ovarian cancer diagnosis, they are forced to embark on a difficult journey regarding love, sacrifice and determination. 

Campus Cinema is a student-run organization dedicated to enhancing and expanding the cinema life of students through a mix of classic and blockbuster films. Group members assist in choosing and advertising films, and most of the movies shown have recently been in theaters but have not yet been released on Blu-Ray/DVD. For more information or to see the movie schedule for the semester, click here
